For Kenny, every moment of life is a fantastic adventure, and he would love nothing more than to find a forever family to share that with.

Kenny does need to be the only pet in his new home, and would do best in a family without small children, due to his strong and energetic nature. He would love a family who is down to be as energetic and athletic as he is, taking him on long walks and running around with him whenever possible. Above all, though, Kenny wants a family who will love him as much as he loves every single person he comes across. For Kenny, it’s really all about the love.

While everyone at Wayside Waifs is bummed for Kenny that he was the only dog not adopted over the weekend, Kenny hasn’t seemed to notice too much, because his shelter friends have been busy showering him with tons of love and affection while he continues to wait for his family.
“Honestly, while we all want Kenny to find his forever home ASAP, we’re positive he’s enjoying the pampering he’s received,” Waugh said. “In addition to the field trip he went on yesterday, he was showered with love on Sunday. He was given a dog-friendly brunch, a new collar and a big, yummy bone.”

Kenny may have gotten overlooked in a big way, but his forever family is out there somewhere, and he’s so excited for the day when he finally gets to meet them.
