Musician Moby gets HUGE Animal Rights Tattoos!

ATA supporter & awesome musician Moby has some new ink and we love it!

Moby Just Got 'ANIMAL RIGHTS' Tattooed on Both of His Arms

He also has 'VEGAN FOR LIFE' written on his neck.

Normally, there would be an intro here but I think it's best that we get right to the point: Moby got a gigantic tattoo that reads "ANIMAL RIGHTS" on his arms. Actually to be specific, he has "ANIMAL" on one arm and "RIGHTS" on the other.

On Instagram, Moby says he decided to get the tattoo because, "As November is my 32 year vegan anniversary i thought i’d get a tattoo (well, technically 12 tattoos) to celebrate."

He continued, "I’m a vegan animal rights activist for many reasons, but ultimately because i believe at the core of my being that every animal has the right to live their own life, according to their own will."

He then thanked Kat Von D and her tattoo parlor for giving him the tattoo.

And while most might think that the tat would warrant laughs and jesting online, the comments on Moby's post are actually...positive? "You're amazing," one person wrote. "Mobes. You’re a f***ing badass," another posted.

One woman who runs an animal sanctuary even commented, "Just showed the animals here & the barn went wild." Not sure if that really happened, but the sentiment is heartwarming nonetheless.

However, this is not Moby's first foray into weird tattoo land. Just two months ago, he unveiled some ink on his neck that reads "VEGAN FOR LIFE." He got it because he's a VEGAN FOR LIFE (obviously). And also because "working for animal rights and animal liberation is my life’s work," as he explained.

Don't get us wrong: Moby's dedication to animal rights is admirable, and we should all be more aware of our meat consumption and how that impacts the environment. We just don't know if oddly-placed (and sized) tattoos are the best way to convey that.
